I am 4th owner having bought her at auction in 2022. Still in contact with 2nd owner, who owned the car for around 40 years. He rallied her as part of the well known Alvis Hares rally team. Took part in Lands End to John O-Groats, Monte Carlo and Cape Cornwall to Northern Spain 20-25 years Alvis cars were custom built and new owners had a choice of coach built body. This one is by Cross and Ellis. “Agatha” still has her original engine, albeit rebuilt a few times over the years. -

The 80th Anniversary TF was produced in 2004 to celebrate 80 years of MG, they only made 1600 and each car is numbered, initially they intended to sell 500 units in the home market but only sold 381. balance were all exported. Only 3 colours, Starlight Silver, Pearl Black, Goodwood Green. All models had produced Alloy Wheels finished in Shaddow Chrome Front Seats are in Burgandy Colour and have 1924 - 2004 embroided on them All the extras available at that time were standard specification On the pearl Black & Starlight Silver cars they had a Burgandy Roof and half tonnue covers to protect the folded roof The Goodwood green had tan seats, hood and tonnue cover On the rear boot lid there is chrome lettering 1924-2004 out of the 381 sold in the home market a pearl black was auctioned at a charity event for £250000. -
